This is for those in the process of adopting who are looking for a list of questions they might be able to ask of their child's/children's caregivers. Let me know if you have any more I could add. Please keep in mind that the questions are dependent upon many different factors such as the age of the child and the country you are adopting from.
Could you please tell me some funny stories about my son/daughter that I could share with him/her when she grows up?
Is there anything she is afraid of?
Is there anything she doesn't like?
What are her favorite foods?
What is she currently eating? What is her diet?
Can we have a picture of her birth mother and father if you have one?
What size is she in?
How big are her feet? What shoe size is she in?
What does she like to do best?
More to come...
Hello, my name is Michelle and my sister Angela Drayton, whom is adopting 5 kids as well gave me your blog info. We too are into fundraising for the adoption and I have always loved making my own natural bath and beauty products with essential oils, etc..We now have our own goat milk and I would love to make some soaps for a Christmas fundraiser for her family coming up! I have only ever made soap with melt and pour glycerin. I was wondering if you would be willing to give me some info on how to make it? Do you use lye? It is coming quickly and I know how busy you must be, but if you can help me in any way I would appreciate it! My email address is: michkives@yahoo.com. Thanks for your time & God bless you and your family!
